The Wedding Rings

So, is anyone else not selling the wedding rings because you think it has some sentimental value to your character?

I tried to do a mission which invovled super mututants, though I ran forgot my power armor in Diamond City so I dropped all my valuables and ran back to sanctuary.

I didn't even know you could get two of them, I never tried to open the pods.

The rings are considered apparel, so there's no chance they can be scrapped.

I kept mine, but to counteract my sentimentality I'm cynically maintaining that if I'd played as a guy then I would have sold it immediately.

Also, I've seen 2 wedding rings in people's inventory. I only had one when I left the Vault... did I miss a trick?

You can give them to your next partner to wear and they do display on the characters hand.

I personally kept the wedding rings untill my character fell in love with Piper. Then he gave Piper Nora's old wedding ring, to symbilize that he had finally moved on and decided to love again.

I'm sure Nora would understand.
