Bethesda Store Shipping? Definitive Answer?

Does anyone know if the game in physical form... be it a standard copy, Pipboy edition, etc... will arrive at your door ON launch day? The website states:

Standard: UPS SurePost or USPS, 5-10 postal days from the ship date on your shipping confirmation.

Expedited: UPS or USPS Priority Mail depending on your delivery zone, 2-3 business days from the ship date on your shipping confirmation.


But then I've heard from Twitter references that the game will in fact reach your door on release day much like Amazon does. Does anyone know the truth on that? If it does reach you on launch day, is that ONLY Expedited shipping?

Expidited shipping is, like it says, 2-3 business days. They'll ship the day before release. You'll get it within 2-3 *business* days. Unless it shows up Friday afternoon - then you'll get it delivered by your local post office on their next regularly scheduled delivery day.

While its difficult to say for sure, i can tell you that when i pre ordered skyrim it arrived well before the release date at my door. That being said, it required you to use steam to play it so there was no way to start the game until it launched on steam at the release date.

That's just it... I've seen people quoting Twitter responses from the dev team but no source links or screenshots. So I don't know if they're just saying that, or it's actually the truth. The word was all physical copies will arrive on release day... but if someone could find that answer for sure I'd appreciate it.
