Bloody Mess...
Do you think there will be an option to disable the gore effect of the Bloody Mess perk? I don't like hammering in a raider's skull to have his leg fly off

Yeah I hope there is a mod for it, I usesally like it but sometimes it gets annoying trying to sort through the mass of meat to make sure I haven't missed looting a body. Maybe with the new dismemberment system they could just make it easier to dismember a target.

I agree. FO3 was impossible without that extra 5% damage.

Just don't get the frikking perk. It had a miniscule dmg increase ? Like 5% you will NEVER even notice the difference.

The bonus damage is nice, but the constant splatter can eventually get... boring (I find it more rewarding to only get this kinds of effects when I score a particularly critical hit), and might possibly make looting the corpses more difficult... so a mod that keeps the bonus but removes the mess (or reduces its change of happening) might indeed be an option to take into account.

Yeah thats where I stand, and a mod that just reduced the frequency of it to randomly happening upon a critical hit would be nice. It wont effect me if its not in the base game though it will just be a mod I will look out for, like you said the bonus damage is nice but I just wont use it until a mod comes out.

Yeah, I agree how it can get boring. Plus I like the cinimatic deaths than silly exploding corpse fun time
