Does that lore take the T-60, a new addition entirely, into account? Because we're talking about the T-60 here.
It's doubtful that the T-60 is that much of an improvement.
How i loved this Intro :D played this game 5 times or so :)
Dafuq did you ever played Crysis ? Nanosuit rip the Halo armor in thousand pieces while master chief dont know where he is then he is in cloked mode :)
On that note a bit more off topic but I wonder how much we can upgrade power armor besides the body parts, I saw that you can attach a headlamp when they were going through the customization video and there is the jetpack so I wonder what else.
Also I wonder if there will be internal upgrades, something I loved in Project Nevada was the diffrent vision modes for power armor and other advanced armor. It would be cool to upgrade a power armor with the capability to use Thermal or EMF vision. Probably wont be able to but that will come with mods.
They did seem to be drawing from Project Nevada in other areas, so I wouldn't be surprised if we see that in Fallout 4. I, too, would love to see that, but if it's not in the vanilla game I do agree with you, there will always be mods.
I don't get why people go saying "quit saying there will be mods, it should be in the game by default!" when Bethesda is renowned for being so mod-friendly.
Really?

Really?
BTW - ellipses are not a subsitute for actual punctuation marks.
I am coming from the school of thought that the more ridiculous the proposition the less I find it to be a compelling argument. The same holds true for the Fallout universe. Granted technology isn't necessarily linear, but certain leaps cannot be met without certain prerequisites being met. The armor as presented would necessitate the development of the transister. Obviously these are fantasy worlds we are discussing, and thus the technology that exists in one would likely be impossible in the other, but still balance needs to matter otherwise it comes off as being goofy.
Anyway if you want to argue which is the strongest armor in all of gaming. I would probably have to go with the symbiotic pathogen from the Prototype series. None of the armors mentioned thus far would hold a candle to it, but it is ridiculously and insanely unrealistic. By the way it you have yet to play either game in the series you ought to. I wish the franchise would see another game, because the previous two games were great mindless fun.
Thats not even combined with the Technocite Armor, a suit that greatly increases the users durabilty and it enhances the users powers and reflexs. A enemy in Dark Sector with the suit is capable of snatching RPGs out of the air Wesker style.
Also on the Mjlonir thing this is just my opinion but I don't think the ability to re enter a planets atmosphere shows how strong something is, just its ability to disperse heat which is probably a must when your enimies use plasma based weaponry. A space shuttle can properally disperse heat on reentry but I doubt it can take a HE round.
