Fallout Shelter for PC
I've seen a lot of people asking if/when Fallout Shelter will be available on Steam. While I have no idea about coming to Steam, there is an easy and effective way to continue your current Fallout Shelter game on your PC while getting Google Play achievements. How? Bluestacks or Andy. Both are Android emulators that operate very similar to an Android. You can link up your Google Play account, transfer your vault's .sav file over, and pick up right where you left off!

1. You'll need a Gmail account, naturally, to start.
2. Download Bluestacks or Andy. I personally prefer Andy because it has a setup that's an Android/Windows hybrid and Bluestacks has been giving me issues with initialization and uninstalling. Some say Andy has a bigger performance requirement but if you've got a decent computer you should be fine.
3. Sync your Gmail or Google Play account and download Fallout Shelter on the emulator, start up a new game, and run through the tutorial until you can access the menu and exit out of the game. You do not need to use location access, notifications, etc. As long as you are signed in, you should be fine.
4. Go into your phone's files using a file manager. If you don't have one, there are plenty of free ones available on the Play store. ES File Explorer is a good one.
5. Locate your Fallout Shelter folder. It is labeled "com.bethsoft.falloutshelter". Once there, go into the "Files" folder and select the Vault save file you'd like to continue with. Copy your save and place it in a file sharing site or email so you can access it from your computer.
:p2blue:NOTE: Before going any further, DO NOT MOVE OR CUT the file you are going to play with. COPY it. From this point on if something should go wrong you will have at least lost 10 minutes of trying rather than 10 hours of playtime.
6. Find your emulator's file on your computer. It will be wherever you downloaded it. By default, it could be under your username or Documents. Open it up and create a new folder within it that you will be able to easily find and name it "Shared". Place the phone's .sav file in there. If you want to load several save files, I recommend creating more specific folders and placing individual .sav files in them to avoid confusion.
:p2blue:NOTE: You CANNOT rename your .sav files to anything but "Vault1", "Vault2", or "Vault3". The 1, 2, and 3 represent the 3 save slots in the game, so renaming it to "Vault420.sav" or "Vault69lolz.sav" won't register in the game. If you load two or more .sav files of the same name without overwriting, one will come up as "Vault1-1.sav" and so on.
7. With your emulator open, use the file manager to find the "Shared" folder. Select your .sav file and copy it. Some people say that they have issues with copy-pasting things. You must hold down Left Mouse to pull up the options. Remember, it works just like your phone with touch, hold, and scroll.
8. Go to the "com.bethsoft.falloutshelter" folder in your emulator (likely in the SD Card folder by default), open the "Files" folder, and paste your .sav file. If asked to overwrite, do "yes to all".
9. Open up Fallout Shelter and continue!

If there are any problems, let me know and I might be able to help.
