Why do people keep mentioning this, like they actually have proof?

Bethseda games have never had much sexual themes in them. Not since daggerfall... Why are people complaining about this. Because the witcher did it and now everyone has to?

And for morons saying there were sexual themes in fallout 1-2...dialogue only you morons. There were no sex scenes in those games just some dirty dialogue. IF you want sexual themes so bad... Go watch some porn.

And? Who cares? This is Fallout, not some porn game.

Well it's also supposed to be a mature game fore mature aduiences. Not children so why the need to kiddyfy it even more when Fallout is supposed to be a dark themed game with lots of violence and drug use. Violence and drug use is supposed to have in tow some sexual themes. I hope they're not dumbing this game down in all aspects.

There's a difference between moderate sexual themes and porn.

Nobody wants to go watch porn. The thing is, the sex, kind of made FNV and F3 an edge more logical and realistic.

It adds immersion to an apocalyptic theme that requires some sexuals themes just as it requires violence and drug use as well as language themes.

Bethesda doesn't know what viginas are.
They also want to shill as many copies as possible and don't care about installed fanbases (quote from godd howard himself).
If cutting out boobies means they can sell more copies to 12 year olds then they'll do that.
They did it with dialogue and combat, gutting it out and making it easy so kids could play them.

too late for that, the game already got an M rating, guess they didn't try hard enough to make a game that 12 year olds would want to play. Of course one could always argue it is actually those 12 year olds who are so desperate to see boobies in a game, because that's the only boobies most of them will ever see.

I agree it's kinda silly if the 'no sexual themes or content' rating means Bethesda didn't include anything like hookers with fade-to-black scenes or things like that what you would find in the Wasteland, but why are people acting like it's self-evident for a game to have nudity and explicit sex just because it's rated M?

i actually appreciate this about Bethesda. My 10 year old wants to play Fallout 4. She loves Skyrim and minecraft, and can't wait to build her settlement. If Fallout 4 was adult in vanilla, she could not play this game. And no, i have no problem with the cartoon violence. As for me, i will eventually get it for computer and mod the ♥♥♥♥ out of it, including a couple nice nudity mods and a sex/prostitution mod. Need i say that my kid will not be playing Fallout 4 on my computer?

I hope your 10-year-old enjoys graphic violence.

cdpr is pretty childish when it comes to sexual content in game, here have a flower lets go shag...

not one single fallout game has depicted sex in a visual way, it was always suggested through dialogue, certainly not sex as some reward for some minor quest like developers like cdpr treat it.

Yeah, in Witcher 1 that was stupid, but they redeemed themselves with Witcher 3. They did great in that game not making it look like sex is nothing but a reward but part of a relationship. Again, is not just about sex, but look at F3. The problems you have to deal with, the enemies, the atmosphere, everything is kinda childish imo, New Vegas did better.

I would expect quests related to real problems with real consequences, quests with moral choices with no "black or white". Not just that but an oppressive atmosphere, we are talking about a "dead world" and people would be depressed, fighting for survival, etc... in other words, a decadent world like it was in Fallout 1/2.

But so far that's what Bethesda's games are like. Again, beautiful and clean.

That's why Metro games are so realistic and convey the post-apocalyptic feel of the world very well. Because they are not made for kids. They have lots of violence, a very cold, bleak and desolate atmosphere.

Everything is deadly and feels deadly- you can't go out without suffocating to death unless you use a gas mask, which is something Fallout games don't have and makes the world feels too safe sometimes.

There are strippers and hookers and sex is seen as a natural part of the human instinct, not something that is there just to appease a certain audience, but it is a part of the everyday life.

To me, the Metro games encapsulate the ideal Post-Apocalyptic World. When you travel in the Metro games, especially Last Light, you feel truly helpless and alone. The graphics, too, help a lot because of how photo-realistic they are.

I hope one day the Metro games will become an open-world RPG just like Fallout. They will make a great contender.

Seeing a persons head explode is all ok but seeing a boob is not.
You're projecting your insecurities onto your child and it's going to mess their head up.
