Fallout 4
Build your SPECIAL character
Only one month and a half aprox. to the launch, and Bethesda is making a lot of videos of the importance of the SPECIAL attributes and perks, so the question is:

How will you spend your SPECIAL points? In Fallout 3 and New Vegas, you had 5 points in each characteristic, plus a total of 5 extra points for your choice. You was able to move all the points from 1 to 10. That means, a total of 40 SPECIAL points.
However, in Fallout 4 you will only have 28 points, so how will you build your character?

*Sorry for my bad English level.

Thanks for the info, I have already updated the question. But it would be interesting to share our choices.
Ooh, fresh SPECIAL thread.

S 6, P 2, E 1, C 10, I 3, A 3, L 3

I call it the '♥♥♥♥ Int 10 builds'

Luck/Agility will get buffed down the road, but I aim to take advantage of the fact charisma isn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless for once. Not to mention those amazing perks. Otherwise, distribution is specifically for the core perks I'll require most, sneak's silent running being a very necessary one.

Vault111.com confuses me a bit, is perception really only VATS/Radar? would be nice.

You can use perk points to increase special stats.

You can also get +2 to each special stat through bobbleheads and comic books (5 for each stat).

Also, whatever stats you can get through gear.

Late note; with infinite leveling, there isn't a high pressure to get bobble heads early or be forever gimped. You only lose level efficiency of about 15 levels in spending points to stats, compared to about level 275 to acquire everything with perk points. My small hope is excess points get rolled into perk points, but it's wishful thinking for now.

I have like, 10(?) or so builds planned out. First, I'm gonna go for my "Charismatic Sniper" build, because being a sweet talking sharpshooter sounds pretty damn awesome to me.

And this looks like so:

S: 1
P: 2
E: 1
C: 10
I: 5
A: 8
L: 1 (Not much Luck for critical chance, I know, but I'm going for more raw damage than crits with this build.)

And, depending on how much I enjoy that character, I'll move onto a Genius Engineer, my "Impenetrable Fortress" Power Armor build, and so on.
Strength: 1 // never use melee weapons
Perception:4 // for picklock
Endurance: 1 // will probably survive
Charisma: 6 // getting some interesting interractions
Intelligence: 4 // hacking
Agility: 3 // sneak
Luck: 9 // casinos, to get some caps quick
How can you choose an attribute spread when we only know a few of the perks? The perks more than anything are what will dictate how we spend our points.

When you distribute the SPECIAL points in the game, you won't neither know what the perks do.

That's the point of seeing so many people's interpretations of what they think they'll need for their desired character.

Are you going to sit at the SPECIAL screen for a half an hour and decide then? Probably not, so you decide before hand. And, seeing what other people are speculating is a good way to decide how you want to spend your points for yourself.

Plus, if you've played any of the past Fallouts, you probably have an idea of what each SPECIAL does.
