Mods enabled but not active.

I am playing the game through F4SE launched through the nexus mod manager and the game SAYS my mods are all enabled but they aren't active in game, character customization's show but aren't visible. The dialogue overhaul isn't functioning at all and I am in the start of the game and have no idea what else is or isn't working, any ideas?

Did you add the ini changes in the link above?
If using mod manager or vortex are your plugins enabled?
Use loot to sort your mod order?

A few things I can think of.

Look at the plugin submenu on the left, sometimes the mod is enabled but the plugin for the mod is not.

I did everything on that guide and cleaned everything and made sure EVERYTHING was done correctly but they refused to work no matter what I disabled or enabled and that includes the script extender of course. I just gave up and uninstalled it, I refuse to play this trashfire of a game that tarnishes an amazing series if I can't mod it.

I tried to start up Fallout 3 instead but it refuses to run on Windows 10, at all.

So I am trying Fallout New Vegas next, it's my favorite fallout but it's far too easy, even with the stupidly implemented survival mode. I need a hardcore amo scarcity mod along with a hardcore needs mod and probably more stuff on top of that.

Don't use NMM. FO3 works fine on Win10 for me. Did you follow the sticky in the forum? There is version of FO3 on GOG for a few bucks.

I have the same issue. ini files are modified as in the guides, in mod manager plugins are active.
What is very strange to me cc mods work but any other mods don't. No matter the mod is downloaded and no matter i downloaded them via nexus mod or via in the game menu what is supported or i created it even the most simple ones. It looks like all other mods are blocked like they don't let other mods but cc mods for money.

Make your own thread if you want help.
Include:

System specs (Help in the STEAM taskbar, system information, copy and paste here)
Game version.
Mod Manager used.
Mod list.
Load order.

And a DETAILED description of what is happening and what you have done to fix the issue.

I can assure you modding works just fine in fallout 4 IF you know what you are doing...

AND it will NEVER work right if you have no idea what you are doing...

Is the mod compatible to your version? If not it will either crash your game or simply not work.

Also let us know what solved your problem as this helps future users and us know what was the issue.
