Those are general banter and are supposed to happen in certain places.
Nothing to do with the patch. It happens in vanilla games also. Before I started using mods, Deacon and Cait would repeat their lines over and over whenever we were near the USS Constitution. I don't know of any fix. This game is buggy with or without mods.
You could temporarily turn off the voices with the audio slider in settings, when this happens.
Alternatively, there is this mod on Nexus: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/41785 (never used it, don't know if it works).
It is still a good mod though.
Any fix to the repeating lines?
You can choose the amount of percentage of how much you want to lower the amount of frequency in which the companion and any other NPC is speaking.
Just downloaded it - did lower the frequency in which they comment things. I have Cait as a companion.
