Think we'll ever see more pip boys on sale?
I know that the pip boy edition is over for now and the factory said that they couldn't make any more but do you think we might ever see Bethesda find anyone else to make some? Or maybe once they are shipped we might see someone else making them independently?

It's everything to do with the deal the factory has with Bethesda. Bethesda decides the number of collector editions released to the market, no one else.

Bootleg pip-boys, sure. The notion there is a market vacuum means someone will surely try to over-charge for cheaply made goods.

I would surmise when the inevitable GOTY edition comes there'll be an extra gewgaw included.

If you go on Etzy, people are making some, and they dont look half bad.

It's called "Limited Edition" for a reason.

I never heard it called limited edition, they called it the collector edition.

PipBoy Edition isn't likely to have another release. They did two runs aaaaand that's all folks.

There was an old post (couple of weeks ago) on the Reddit about Amazon having another run of them, but haven't seen anything of that since, so not expecting much.

So yeah - pretty much going to have to settle for the wait-and-hope of being on a cancellation list, stock up on cash for when the hoarders start putting up their extortion bids on EBay, or go with the stock standard release.

Is a shame, but well... consumerism reigns supreme :conwayshrug:
