power conduits stopped working in settlement

hi,

so i was moving from one settlement to nother, then got back to my main base, it seems all conduits stopped working and are not sending power, and i mean ALL of them... is there any fix to it? did you had such issue before?

Spectacle island suffers from the same issues that Sanctuary does because of its size. Just do a google search of "Fallout 4 Triangle of Death" and you'll find some very interesting reading.

i will, but any fast fix for now? or i need to reconnect cables ?

My personal fix was to never build in Sanctuary or Spectacle Island and it's been 100% effective. I've developed large working builds in every other settlement including Far Harbor and Nuka world and I never have the problems I originally had in Sanctuary when I made the mistake of building a base there in my first play through.

I know you're looking for a "magic bullet" but Spectacle Island and the Triangle are not that simple. I told you to google for a reason, and that reason was so you understand what's going on in those locations. If you don't want to read, then you'll just have to deal with your broken power grid.

I had the SAME issue in Sanctuary that you have in Spectacle Island - the power grid failing for no apparent reason.

As for Energy I use mods thus no problems in this case.

but i never had such bug before, and its bug as all was working fine till one fast travel, then got back and no cable was working

i built a huge city at spectacle in a play-through i did like a year ago. had this same problem. sad to hear that it can happen in sanctuary too.

yes the fix for me at the time was to re-wire everything. :(

i don't know of any solution to the problem besides what SuperSledgeNY said and just don't try to build large settlements there.

it is a slow build up of crack-code so to speak.
I reached level 112 wih massive settlements and the problems came, followed by CDTs to the point I had to stop that save-game run.
Then learned of :
Fallout 4 Triangle of Death

That thought me the real meaning of Christmas (lol) of how to deal with the handicapped Creation Engine of Fallout 4

Watch the videos of different modders on the issue and learn that you can play a flawless game, but with the Fallout 4 bug always in mind ....

i did read it, ehhh thanks for your time guys, i already build quite big settlement there, maybe i wont get more issues like that anymore, who knows.

yeah you gotta keep your settlements small or the cells wont load properly. game doesn't load all the cells.

I generally make a housing barracks, put the crops in the center and the defenses on the roof. keep it small.

got a larger farm area than normal in sanctuary and spectacle island sure but we defend don't use the whole area.
