Warhead and Dampening Coil in inventory
How do you remove the Warhead and the Dampening Coil from your inventory? I know they are part of the Yangtze submarine quest but I don't have that quest and somehow I have these 2 things and can't remove them from my inventory. Is there any way to get rid of them? They are stuck in inventory. What should I do with them?

You will have wait and do the Yangtze Sub quest. You can't do anything with them until then.

I was REALLY hopping you'd tell him he had to go to windhelm ;)

So, have you did the quest? Quest items can not be removed from the inventory until you ether finish the quest or fail it. You would fail it if you killed the Commie Scum on the sub.

Quest items usually do not add weight until after a quest is finished. You can just ignore them for now.

Well, then you need to do what THVLL suggested and they'll be gone. I think you missed out on a reasonably fun side quest, there.

The Silver Shroud outfit does before you finish the quest.

Same for the space suits in the Nuka World quest for the space ship nuts. But if you fail the quest, like kill them all, you can loot the bodies and get all of the 5 back and then do what you want with them.

Actually, I am going to disagree with you here. I just had 6 of these suits on me and needed 5 for the quest, and even though it was a stack of 6 suits did it only weigh me down by 1 suit. I did not expect this, which is why I remember it.

Also, I did say "usually" as I do not know every quest item of the top of my head. Like I said, it usually does not have a weight until after a quest ...

Just to show I am not making it up, and because it was noteworthy and I had done the quest recently:

A costume weighs 8lb and a helmet weighs 5lb and although I have 6 pieces each do these only weigh 13lb. The game is clever!

Ahh. Ok. Then I was wrong on the space suits. But the Silver Shroud Costume I am not wrong. But yeah, normally they are small stuff and they do not weigh anything.

Ah, nuke missiles after finishing the quest. 3 transceivers or smth like that. I have them in all my 5 character builds (I think) and I never used it up to this day; saved it in case of emergency, that is.

Basically if you find the items and pick them up they are stuck in your inventory until you do the quest. This of course becomes a problem if they add weight or you have no plans on doing that particular quest/mission.
