Black widow/intimidation builds.

I think these builds are way under appreciated for how good they are.

Basically using black widow to make intimidation checks pass easier your basically able to win fights against human opponents without even having to fight anybody yourself.

I have a character that’s gone all in investing in charisma and luck using black widow/intimidation to make opponents back down before using vats to farm crits up for critical banker.

This build has been insane for winning fights without there barely even being a fight.

A normal death claw snuck up on me and I essentially killed it in 2 shots with overseers guardian on a character that was level 21.

It's a shame that it's a flat % chance that doesn't scale with charisma, that's why rolling a dice on whether it'll work or not is considered big meh compared to shooting them up

Such "builds" are as good as the moment you find the enemy with level scaling that exceeds that of the PC.

That’s the thing taking advantage of black widow and all its ranks it severely increases the chances of working on a human male opponent.

Basekit intimidation is close to a coin flip of a success chance.

Assuming each rank of black widow increases its chances by at least 10% to 15% that would bring us up to 70% to 85%

Though I have no idea what the actual percentage is.

Making it useless in the early game but fairly useful n the midgame to exceptionally powerful once you reach the late game.

then again late game you can kill super mutant overlords with a .38 pipe pistol while you yawn, so really just what ever you like to roleplay.
