LString Bows - Can't use arrows?

So I've tried using a few types of bows, and have multiple arrow types. However, when I try to use the bow it says I'm missing the ammo. I've tried to click the arrows, press/hold r with the bow out, etc. From videos, it looks like when you click the bow it asks what arrow you want to use, but no such menu opens for me. Am I missing something here?

This is not the Skyrim forum. Unless you are referring to a mod for bows in Fallout 4.

Yes the LSTRING Bow mod I'm referring to.

Then ask the mod makers about it, because obviously it's pretty niche and not a vanilla game asset we'd know a lot about?

reinstall it or go to the weapon workbench and select the ammo type from there.

i use an older version of lstring, i got tired of getting a pop up box every time i switched to the bow. last i checked the latest version adds the pop up box.
