Nuka World raiders roaming commonwealth
I can’t seem to find an answer on this. Is there a way to get all 3 NW raider gangs to roam the commonwealth as enemies (similar to regular raiders/rust devils), either by a mission choice or a mod? I have the mod NPCs Travel, but it seems to add groups in NW specifically. I just want them to be random enemy encounters in the commonwealth somehow.

When you finish the Nuka World questline for the Raiders, the group that betrayed you should show up on random encounters from time to time. If you finish by killing them all, they should all appear as enemies.
What may be happening is that your random encounter pool is already huge (finish main quest + automatron), and the Raiders don't get many chances to appear.

IIRC, an almost-guaranteed Raider enemy encounter is at the car dealership near Gunners Plaza. I got Operators and Disciples to appear there a few times, and they even fight the Gunners.

I've absolutely never seen Pack, Operator, or Disciples anywhere but NW. As far as I know unless you're running a mod they won't appear in the main map. What you're talking about (not op, but above mine) is when you ARE a raider, maybe, but it definitely doesn't work to bring those factions to Boston.

They go to the Commonwealth once you finish the gauntlet. All three factions will be in the Commonwealth regardless of what you do in Nuka World.

I've put 3k hours into this game and have zero times ever seen one. I have never sided with the Raiders, and literally never seen one of them set foot on Commonwealth soil.

I’ll check around there, thanks. My first playthrough I only angered the Pack and saw them as random encounters all the time. I killed them all in my most recent playthrough but haven’t seen anyone yet, so kinda abandoned that file and started a new one, wanting to take the “right” steps. I basically just want more varied enemy encounters. But if they technically should appear if I killed the leaders in NW, I’ll try going back to that save file

I have no explanation to give you as to why your game doesn't add them to the Commonwealth but in the base game they most certainly do roam the Commonwealth.

Not if you do Open Season. I have 3400+ hrs and have never seen them in the Commonwealth. Not once. However, their gear can drop. I use no mods.

That's because you killed them........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Other then doing that DLC that way, they go to the Commonwealth as soon as you've done the gauntlet. They are added to the hot spots around the map just like Robots and Rust Devils. This is all base game stuff. Its the same for Far Harbour. You'll get the BoS and Minutemen showing up there.

Well, granted, I have only did Open Season there, because my chars despises raider scums.

But I have never seen the MM or BOS in Far Harbor. Now, I have never ratted on Arcadia to the BOS or Institute. Except for 2 play runs, all the rest have been MM runs. Yet, I have never seen the MM patrols there like you do in the Commonwealth at any of my settlements in Far Harbor or at check points.

Yeah. At times on here some players will talk about the game and comment on things in the game as if it is in the base game when it is added by a mod.

I believe the key point is whether you've helped them start their invasion of the Commonwealth after claiming all five of the Nuka World parks in the gang storyline.

Like you, I've done Open Season with my main character and have no mods, but I completed it after the gang storyline, and I do routinely see Nuka World gang encounters. So the gangs are in the Commonwealth if you brought them in.

Yeah. At times on here some players will talk about the game and comment on things in the game as if it is in the base game when it is added by a mod.

And at times there are players who insist something is from a mod, when it is a part of the base game itself[fallout.fandom.com].

Thats the only one that has text describing it, but yes you can encounter Nuka World raiders randomly in the Commonwealth.
Zekiran Jun 19, 2022 @ 6:17pm
If you don't side with the raiders, they do not spawn as *enemies to you* in the commonwealth, they don't show up at all, but as said above, their gear drops reasonably often which is super weird (even when I haven't yet gone TO nuka they drop items).

If you DO side with them, they appear FOR YOU, as well as the one you betrayed as enemies. This is working as intended as far as I can tell. There's no reason for random groups to just up and come follow you, they have their hands full where they are.

That's the key.
