This is just sad.. (NG update Makeshift Weapons pack has quite a bit of cut content in it)
I took a peek at the Makeshift Weapons pack in the xEdit to add my own recipe for the nails , sawblades and tweak the Modified baseball recipe to craft in bulk.. and i noticed this pack has a lot of cool stuff in it that wasn't even implemented.

The grenade launchers have various additional special ammo types like acid , cryo , pules , plasma , flechette loaded with nails , mini rockets , MIRV clusters .. heck even a 40mm Laser shot that shoots out lasers in all directions similar like Shredder grenade from EVE mod for Fallout 3. 40mm Nuka wasn't even the only special ammo type that the C Grenade Launcher was supposed to have.

I like the laser one especially, it looks so flashy:

Baseball launcher has a modification that lets it fire Baseball greandes instead baseballs.
All of those seem to be fully functional and only lack implementation (crafting recipe , vendors , loot)

This is sad. So much cool stuff cut from this pack.
Guess there is always modders to fix and reimplement this.

I think that's what i'm gonna do for myself if i'm not feeling lazy.

TLDR: There are a lot off scrapped attatchments and special ammo types in the Makeshift Weapons pack that are working but lack ingame source (not found in vendors , crafting , loot - you will not find these)

That hasn't been fixed since it launched apparently. no surprise there. Found a bunch of threads on reddit that indicate the xbox version was fixed but not 'fixed fixed', since that version had invisible models and other stuff (maybe on pc too I don't know and don't care since I won't be using the cc crap even if I do allow the game to update next time I play).

I don't know whether you use the robco patcher, but there's a popular patch for it to allow nails and other such, if that's what you are looking for.

This one specifically states they're working on recipes

I feel like you might have misread my post a bit.

No, aside from "gonna maybe take a crack it it", mods exist for exactly what you describe?

None of the mods you listed restore the cut content ammo types and attatchments from Makeshift Pack that i mentioned.

The grenade rifles alone have several other attatchments and ammo types that are unused (not available in loot , vendor or crafting) but are fully functional otherwise.

I am refering to the cut content from this pack not the lacking of crafting recipes for nails , 40mm nuka , blades and piggy ammo (all which do appear in vendor or loot altho rarely)

I am talking about the extra stuff that i discovered that was scrapped while poking in that pack with xEdit. Stuff like the: Laser prism grenades , Mini rockets , Acid , Flechette , Plasma , Cryo , Explosive variant modified bballs etc. That i mentioned. The mods you listed do not restore these.

It's like the author of this creation wanted to make it more expansive than it currently is but didn't for some reason and decided to just scrap the extra stuff that was in the pack.

I hope it's more clear now what i am talking about.

As far as I know, I didn't use anything from the editor the game is original without mod the weapons and the powerful armors are from the game:steamthumbsup:

*sigh*
Edited the thread slightly to hopefully avoid people getting confused about what i am talking about.

I'd ask the creator of either of those mods, then, whether they know if those are things they'd be willing to work with, make, or help you figure out what needs doing.

Most of the work is already done by the CC author from the looks of it.
It seems all it needs are crafting recipes or implementations into the Leveling List and a bit of damage tweaking.

And a condition to prevent the cut Baseball Launcher explosive reciever conflicting with flaming attatchment (it overrides the explosive projectile with the flaming one , that's the only issue i so far noticed when testing these scrapped attatchments)

Basic stuff i can do already for myself.
My thread isn't much of a mod request but rather a small rant why the author of that CC pack didn't add all these existing fancy attatchments and ammo types into the game.

Maybe the author of the CC didn't have enough time for the finishing touches? Or thought these flashy attatchments and ammo types would be too overpowered?

We'll never know.

Well, I mean.

Real life!

The guy I'm waiting for adding new pipboy arcade cabinets is *moving house*. lol reality is busy for modders too, this is hardly their full time job for the most part. It is always sad when one of them just kinda up and vanishes though.
