How to skip boring dialog?

I read that there was a way to do it, but that the NPCs consider it rude.
I would love to add this to my tool kit, because there's lots of boring dialog I just don't want to deal with again.
How does a player skip the boring dialog e.g. Kathy Dalton telling SS how great she is and how the Island will get SS.

Left Mouse Button, same as Fire your Weapon. So be carefull to not shoot someone in the Head while fast talking. I did not found another key so far.

Type "dialogue" into nexusmods search and you'll get 3 pages of mods, there are two there that you might like, but they have low endorsements

I stay away from low endorsed mods to do with interaction's etc

You now there is a way around it and it is by not listening to there dialog. That is how I keep up my motivation in the Fallout 4 game. Or do not let them get you stack in that long dialog

Sorry its part of the main stream storyline... If you want it to go away you need mods

2. rightarrow
3. uparrow
4. downarrow

I have a keyboard, I just keep hitting the down arrow button, each hit skips a line of dialogue. Careful, if you hit it one time too many, you will have made a response. But it does speed things along.
