And he tends to jump out of the vertibird and land in the strangest places. 99% of the time, I have to kill the synth myself, and then go looking for him. For me, he tends to wind up somewhere on the wrong side of the airport, and completely de-aggroes, and just sits there.
Hmm possibly, I'll keep that in mind for next time.
Yeah, it's so annoying. That's happened to me before on another play through, he jumped out near the coast on the other side, then I was desperately running there to finish him off and get his great battle coat, but ofcourse I got teleported away. The one I did today, his vertibird just vanished in the chaos.
That's why I wish the player could control the pace of the scripting a little.
Ha OK thanks. Will try that next time.
Even though I know there's really nothing different about its statistics, having a named power armour frame is just a kind of trophy I like to get. It's one of (I think) about three different named frames.
Yeah I hear you, i'm the same, I like my trophies too. Been thinking about what Varanus said and i think next time i'm on that quest I might turn off survival mode and try all the methods mentioned to increase your chance of success. I know I can do the mission on survival, did it without cheating last night. So might just do the old console trick to turn survival off and on again.
