Cannot tell if I have DLCs and Next Gen
Recently I tried to get Fallout London going. It was a disaster and I failed. So I gave up and did a complete reinstall of the vanilla Fallout 4. I do have all the DLCs but I cannot tell if they are in my new install. Or if the Next Gen upgrades are there either. Steam is not telling me the game needs to be updated.
Is there any way I can verify that all my DLCs have been installed too? The game files total about 37.5 Gb, if that helps.
Thanks.

If you have "reinstalled" fallout 4 from steam, you cannot use FOLON because it's incompatible.

Buy the game over on GoG and install your folon on a different build of the game from steam's.

If Steam is not saying update, the game is NEXT GENERATION updated.

FOLON *requires* the rolled back, downgraded, or never-upgraded version of the game, as well as the launcher that goes WITH it, which is definitely never going to be 'the play button' on steam.

If you downloaded the game through Steam since April, you have the Next-Gen patch installed. You don't get an option to not install it - the only thing you can do is install the game then use the downgrader.

Right click the game name in your library, and go to Properties then DLC. If the game is installed and the box next to the DLC is checked, it was installed as well.

I know I can’t use FOLON via Steam. I did try to install it as per the instructions and gave up. I’m sticking with Fallout 4, to hell with FOLON.

It's sadly been pretty 'meh' as far as overall perception goes, which is at once unsurprising, and sad. I really do wish that some of these 'big' mods would actually... be better. But then that's me coming from Black Mesa Source into the modern era with what was it at least 10 years between its announcement and release on its own? It is probably the biggest mod I've ever seen be successful. Fallout ones just don't seem to be able to carry their own weight if they're all kindsa story based. :/

Either way if you own the GOTY edition, you have the dlc.

You can make sure that they are active if you go into the game's main menu and click ADDONS.
