Macredy won't give me "Jacobs Password"

Im trying to do macredys personal quest, but he won't frikin give me jacobs password for the terminal in med tec reasearch.

To make sure I was doing it right, I watched a youtube vidio of somones walkthrough, and they just pressed e once on the terminal when macredy and him entered the room.

I've tried about every trick in the book to fix this, (entering and existing the room or building, waiting an hour, ect.) the only thing I haven't done is verify the integrity of my game cache.

So does anyone have a solution?

• use the terminal
  
• then press the ~ key (left to the 1 key and above tab)
  
• then type unlock, it should then say: "terminal unlocked."

Then just get up and reuse it and it should work

Most console commands can fix bugs for you, so don't forget about them!

This is the biggest reason I play Bethesday games on PC. There are always...ALWAYS...3-4 quests I have to fix via console commands.
