So being the director is a waist of time
My son said that once I become the director I can make decisions on the the direction the institut takes and policies in meetings. Well the only meeting we had before i became the director was about the threat of the brotherhood and if we should focus on mass production of syths or focuse on weapon upgrades. That was all in one meeting. No matter what choice i made i seen no difference in any choice. The wasteland was still the same, no increase numbers in syth units, no major battles, no change in weapons upgrade. After I destroyed the brotherhood (which was the next mission right after the meeting) my son died and I became the director. Sooooooooo my question is where is the choices that i can make on policies, the next move, meetings, anything to do with the rank of director? The only thing that changed was more weapon choices and little side quests to collect things for the scientist.

I went back to DC and bought my house there finally. There were quite a few gen 1's there and all said they were there to show that the Institute is around and will be around for good.

The local citizens don't seem to mind. The synths aren't hostile.

Yeah, but beating most factions' stories aren't really rewarding.
I guess the BoS and Minutemen bc guns.

"Dont you know yet? Being a faction leader grants you the ability to run errands for everyone and do litterally nothing when it comes to actual leadership!"
