Anyone find a fix for the Molecular Level glitch?
I've tried every suggestion I can find in every forum. From clearing everything out and rebuilding to building in a certain order, and even with certain amount of power/generators!! I'd like to continue with my game :( I've been waiting so long for a fix, I've been side questing and gaining level pretty fast, don't really want to have to start over

hate to tell ya mang, but even if they do patch it, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up version is already in your save - it wont get "fixed" until you start over anyway.

I mean, maybe not, dont go deleting your save or starting anew cause you never know.... just saying, my experience with bethesda and patches suggests your problem will never be fixed on that save. :(

I never had a problem with that mission, just be sure to put it on flat level ground (dirt) and be sure everything is connected with wires (not just for power, but for the 3 items linked together too, relay, control console and beam emiter)

The only glitch in Molecular Level, is the one in your head. Quest plays perfect.
Is it that you couldnt figure how to arrange 4 component?
Promise me youll buck up .

I have never had a glitch with this quest and I have restarted and played thru at least 6 times.

I did have a hard time figuring out how to wire everything the 1st. time around, so I understand your problem, I think.

Here it is step by step.

1 build the platform and set it on even ground with open area around it to put everything else.

2 build the relay tower and place it over the platform.

3 build the console and place it near the relay tower

4 build the beam emitter and place it near the console, best to put it on the same side as the elec. connection on the console.

5 build 3 large generators, the big ones the produce 10 power each. You need 30 power to run everything. Close to the relay tower but not in the way of moving around.

6 run a wire from one generator to another, then run a wire from that one to the last generator.
(now you should have the 3 generators all hooked together so they prodce 30 power.)

7 run a wire from the generators to the relay tower.

8 run a wire from the relay tower to the console

9 run a wire from the console to the beam emitter

you are ready to go
hope this helps.

Yeah, I have to ask... What exactly is the glitch here?

I had an issue with this quest as well. This tip from the wiki fixed it for me:

The teleporter can be placed on a concrete foundation; create a large concrete foundation that is level, place a one floor board on-top of the foundation. The emitter component will now snap to the floor on-top of the foundation; now remove the floor board and the base can snap to the emitter.

I'm glad you're ignorant enough to think I'm the only one with this problem, acutally thousands of people have been dealing with this. I have everything set up correct and have re-set it up at least 20 times, after it's set up and had power, literally nothing happens. It will not continue and power up to allow me to use the teleporter. http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/365157825941620614/7ADDA8CF41A5572CA85A031ADFE215192BFD309D/

This might seem like a silly question, but did you actually stand on the point indicated? I do remember it took a moment to register when I did so, you may be moving off it before the game recognises you're in place...

I looked at your screenshot and your beam emitter is NOT active. It will light up when it is. You have a wire running from the beam emitter to the console AND another to the relay tower. That is why it will not work. You will have to scrap the beam emitter and build it again to get rid of the connections you have made. When you rebuild it only connect it to the console, do not connect it to the relay tower. then it will work.

You don't have to scrap emitter, the workshop will let you select the wires and store them

I do it all the time when I move them it saves on copper

I appreciate the thought but I've tried wiring it several ways. Just tried yet again the way you suggested and same issue. And just to be sure I did scrap it and rebuild. Doesn't seem to matter how I set it up, the beam emitter will not activate

In this shot, the beam emitter is on, but it's not connected to the tower.

You need to supply power to the console first. Run wire from console to beam emitter. Run wire from console to tower. Run wire from tower to beam emitter.

I checked the screenshot from the last post. You do have it connected correctly. The lights on the beam emitter are on so it is working. If you can not teleport it is not because of how you have it connected. It must be a bug in you program. I have built this thing at least 6 times and it worked for me everytime. So if it is a bug it must be in you copy of the program. Try verifiying you local files and see if you have any mistakes in your program.

If perks are any indication EVERYONE'S Fallout 4 is buggy. Just because a bug exists does not mean it's guaranteed to happen every playthrough, or even a majority of them. The bug could also relate to what quests have been done or even what gear a player has on (for instance the Targeting HUD making people hostile). Its really much more complicated figuring out what is causing this bug to occur than just declaring that it must be a problem with the OPs local files. Long story short, Fallout 4 is simply buggy... very very buggy.

@OP: Just a shot in the dark here, try setting up a second Relay Dish and wire it to your Beam Emitter (both out at the same time and both wired). This seems to have fixed the issue for some people.

I don't know if the glitch is still there, but is it similar to my problem? My problem is that all the pieces of the array have no wire snap points, I can power everything with a conduit to the ground except the beam array.
