I mean it's a cool looking coat, but there are better clothing items out there.
Look at the Minutemen General's Outfit. Its balistic resistance is 5 point lower than the Battlecoat, but it also has an energy resistance of 80, which I think is more than enough to outclass the Battlecoat.
But it makes you look like a toy soldier.
Clearly, people who like Maxson's Battlecoat aren't after it for the stats.
Plus, it goes great with my outfit, so I'm not complaining.
Let me just pull up a screenshot real quick...
It's just that for stats and armour ratings, there are better options available, like the MG outfit (no, not Metal Gear)
Of course there are better clothing items out there. That's just not the point, though.
Might have to give it a try to see how the two match up.
If not, it's actually worse than maxxon's battlecoat, I'll have to go and see.
I'll do a final comparison, I'll load up two screenshots so it can be put to rest.
