INSTITUTE TELEPORTER NOT WORKING
:conwayfacepalm: So, for some reason when I try to attach the molecular beam emitter (big electrical tower) to the stabilized reflector platform, it wont allow me to attach them. Any ideas?

Also, if somebody could tell me how to post images to threads that'd be awesome. If you can't screenshots of the problem are on my steam profile.
Take a screenshot, go to the steam overlay, view screenshots, upload, view, then post the link to the screenshot here.

As for doing it correctly:

Make sure that they're all connected to eachother, and all connected to every other generator.

1. Didn't think of that lol

2. I do have it set up on it's own power grid with sufficient power, that's not the problem here.

Have you tried storing the platform and attempting to place it on again?

Yes. I've also tried reloading saves, and attempting to build it in three different places with two different factions, In sanctuary with the minutemen, and at the airport with the BOS

Instead of placing it on top of the platform, how about placing the platform underneath it instead?
Try placing the Tower on the Pad. I havent done that part in a while but remember having trouble with it.

That's what I'm doing in the screenshot.

they have to be connected to each other to work :) not just powered

also I had that problem of the beam emiter not connecting to the platform, be sure its on ground level in a dirt area

I also noticed your settlement size bar is maxed out maybe thats another reason its not working ?

Had problems with this too.
It's very picky on what surfaces you can place and attach the two components for the tower thingy.
Try building it on normal wooden floor 2x2.

I remember there being these rugs or pieces of carpet at the airport, try removing those and placing it again.

They are connected.

And the size bar shouldn't be a problem, but I'll try to remove some of the clutter. Thanks.
Okay, so one of you helped me. I don't know who it was but thanks guys. It snapped in. :DDDDD
