i don't understand what is diffrence between concole iron sights and pc iron sights.
is it that on a pc you have perfect aim all the time and you don't need it? wiel thats true i feel that aming down sights to get more accurate shots is true to life, and you sacrifice mobility. have you tried hipfiring at a target at 50 yards? guerenteed that the grouping no matter how good pales in comparison to actully aiming
but if you want it more quake like i am sure a mod will be out for it as soon as the gek is out

Well, if you read what WraithGear said, when you look down the sight IRL, you don't really see the gun itself and have to compensate for it blocking part of your view.
That would be counter-productive to having sights in the first place.
But in video games, there is a need to actually show the weapon because if you don't show the gun itself when aiming down sights, people complain about "immersion" or whatever other reasoning there is behind it.
I agree that showing the whole honking gun when I'm trying to aim at baddies is unrealistic, even if I do understand why it's being done.
As for "console vs pc iron sights", I think he's just generalizing that it's for the sake of the console crowd that this is being done, which I personally disagree w/.
The difference between PC and console gamers has been narrowing pretty rapidly as more and more of the younger generation (sorry, I'm old, this isn't meant to be insulting) embrace PC gaming.
...that doesn't mean I won't crack a PC master race joke every now and then for posterity's sake, though. :P
though i would say in real life you would see you gun too when aiming down sight, you just kinda filter out the gun, what with the 2 eyes allowing you to see around the gun a bit.
but how would you implement ADS ingame wiel keeping the reticle in the middle of the screen, yet not having your magnums scope literally touching your eye o_~
This is what we're looking for! Mostly! Great get there, digital_trucker.
Or, you know, realize that only one game has had it that way, people complained that they didn't like it - which is why its a staple of the FPS genre (which this game is now). The reason its not a toggle is because you're supposed to be quickly snapping to and back to shoot and then scoot, not sitting there.
1. Yes, there should be a toggle option.
2. You can make ADS less annoying for you if you change the ADS FOV. Its a .ini file tweak or download http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/102/?tab=2 to make doing that easier.
How ever, If you do not like the Iron sights, then just use the cross hair and use that to guid your shots and do not use the aim mod. Simple enough. I know I am not the only one who is glad the guns here have correct useage for the aim function. I don't even use the cross hairs in this game and shoot from the hip mostly, I goto aim when I need the sights line up for pin point hit. I can't stand all cross hair and no Iron sights, I know what I am doing and how to use it, Cross hair and no Iron sights just gets in my way taking the enviorment effect away.. Give me no cross hair and iron sights any day...
in 2015 how is it ok to not have a cutting edge PC game not run nativly at 60 fps, and no FOV options, and contain MOUSE ACCELERATION. what gamer EVER asked for mouse acceleration! even the dark ages of PC gaming had all this right! i blame the consoles
