KL-E-O and Daisy won't barter

After playing Fallout 4 for many hours, and having no problems buying and selling merchandise from either KL-E-O or Daisy, I suddenly have no option to barter with them. I get the E) TALK option when I approach them, but when I activate them I ony get one of their standard responses and not the 4 pointed option wheel with the barter option at the bottom. It doesn't matter what time of day I try or whether their hands are on the counter or not. Does anyone else have this problem?

did the quest/altercation work properly on entering the city?

I'm not sure what you mean. I don't have any quests specific to Goodneighbor. The strange thing is Rufus trades with me without any problem.

Maybe even if thay are still behind the counter, they are "Closed". It happens with Setllments shops too. They are behind theyr counter, but the shops arent open yet (08.00-20.00 If Im right?) So you cant barter with them.

Reload a different save... Problem solved...

I also have this problem & loading an earlier save doesn't fix it! Since the last game & CC updates this is now a problem.

How do you reassign K.L.E.O. or Daisy?

Could be mod related. There is a command line workaround that will enable you to buy and sell from them, but I forgot what it is. On my first character, KLEO stopped working after I installed either the Service Rifle mod or Northern Springs.

I think it's the Tunnel Snakes CC! There were a bunch of updates in the last month it could be any CC. I am not playing a mod enabled character today.

Until you find the solution, here's the console command. First, open console command window (~ on american pc). Click on npc, so it shows their refid above the console command window. Type in the code:

ShowBarterMenu

(no spaces, then press enter)

I tried that thanks but it didn't work. It should have because I have found others who used it. Eventually I found a save that was okay. My character lost 20 levels. So :( Thanks anyway.
