Vault Tec lunchboxes : self parody ?
So when you find these lunchboxes, is it poking fun at their mobile game ?

If so, the fact that they always contain junk - well, isn't that kind of insulting the playerbase of the mobile game as well ?

(I mean, anyone stupid enough to steal dad's credit card and use it to buy reward lunchboxes, that is)

The game doesn't really have a visible paywall on it, and doesn't limit you and force you to buy anything so I'm not sure what you're trying to imply..

Most of the time it's junk, but I have got a couple of cool trinkets out of them. Got a Nuka Cola Quantum one time, also got a robot action figure. But, hey, scrap the junk and sell the lunchboxes, you don't loose anything.
As far as Fallout Shelter, I mostly get some good out of them, a special dweller, a special weapon, or a butt load of caps.

You're over-thinking it.

I've got 63 vault tech lunch boxes. How many does Paul McCartney have?

I think the bottlecap mines are a good solution. Mostly i received nice items like Nuka Cola Quantum or Nuka Cherry and also Stimpaks and stuff.

Interesting, must be a luck roll.

My character has 1 luck - and he's always getting pencils, spoons, that kinda thing.
Charlemagne Jan 23, 2016 @ 5:18am
They're supposed to be children's prizes and as such they usually contain a trinket, but sometimes a goodie. I always pick what's inside. If it isn't too useful, it is lightwieght junk such as forks which is worthwhile to carry back to your base. And the box weighs zero.
Does Luck REALLY interfere with what you can find in boxes, containers etc.? At least I'm pretty sure it doesn't interfere with how many armor pieces a power armor you find will have.

I think every time you open a levelled box, it does a luck roll - and adjusts for ammo/cap loot perks, which is why I generally find lousy gear because luck wasn't high on the priority list.

Stands to reason that when you open one of the VT lunchboxes, same deal but different category of loot .. I've opened heaps and never, ever seen anything useful or of value like stimpacks etc

The little explosion of confetti .. I wouldnt be surprised if there was an element of luck to it.

Wait you can find things inside the lunchbox? I never picked them up, figuredl I would just scrap it for 1 metal.

No, Paul is out of step with the rest of them in that photo. He is also bare foot.
