However did they choose the names Codsworth recognizes?
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Codsworth/recognized_names
The list seems to have made by moronic adolescents. Consider such gems as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, Boobie, Death, Nuclear, ♥♥♥♥♥♥o, Muckguts. About a third of names are ridiculous as these. If they wanted to include that "rubbish" as Codsworth would say, fine, but they left out a lot of common and normal names that some people would like to use. I don't mean include the whole dictionary, but many are real common and they were not included. Also, about another third is taken by last names. I wonder, how many people give their character in a game a last-name as a name? Like Rivera, Rokatansky, Romanov, Smith, Sawyer. For example, there is an "Edwards" but not an "Edward".
I know its not a huge deal, and that Cogsworth is the only NPC that uses your name, but it's a little something that has bothered me since day 1. Because I couldn't use the name I wanted AND have Codsworth say it.
Edit: The names are so bad, they get edited out in this forum!

Because they designed it for moronic adolescents?
Seriously though Ive seen a lot of "let's play" vids that actually use those names heh
I was shocked it could say my RL name. Go Codsworth.

He can't say either name you want? :( I always use the last name Lee so its always Ms Lee

It's also not 1,000 names, probably because of this:
