Best ledgendary I ever got was an explosive combat rifle, I got it off a ledgendary radroach.
I don't think I've ever got better than a machette off a deathclaw.
Makes me wanna sing the cucaracha, hehe.
If true, however, I would love to run into the Mr./Mrs pack of Ghouls when they turn legendary (though never seen any of them being such ;/)
Yup: my best weapons come off ghouls and low threat bugs. I walk around in coiled power armor, I don't even waste ammo on them anymore.
i did get a 10mm pistol that shoots plasma off a ghoul thou, used that for ages till i got deliverer
I'm just going to go with it. What are the best places to go Ghoul hunting. I want to get one of those explosive round guns I keep hearing about.
Y'know, I think that one was at Dunwich. I also got an unlimited Guass off a Ghoul in the Glowing Sea.
First legendary Gauss rifle I ever got was from a raider who was using it against me before his death.
(Oddly, I've found quite a few legendary Gauss rifles by this point... and plenty of legendary hunting and combat rifles, and even quite a few legendary missile launchers... but never a legendary assault rifle, despite assault rifles generally seeming much more common than Gauss rifles. Legendary drops are weird.)
I have found a Lucky Combat Rifle but Toaster's right, I've found more Guass and Missile Launchers.
BTW Space Ghost Coat to Coast is the reason anything on Adult Swim exists. That show cracked me up.
Each hit has a chance of crippling a leg -- AFAIK, this holds no matter where you hit them, and no matter how strong the enemy is, or how low the weapon's per-shot damage is.
It's mostly useful against enemies that prefer to rush you, and are at least somewhat hardy -- deathclaws, higher-tier ghouls (lower-tier ones die pretty quickly, so a modest chance of crippling is less useful), assaultrons, mutant suiciders.
Against, say, Gunners, it's less useful; crippling will make them easier to hit by slowing them down, but they'll still shoot at you.
