Best Faction (Coolest Stuff)?
I don't care about the morality of siding with any of the factions. What I want to know (with as few spoilers as possible; haven't finished the game once yet) is what stuff can you get from each faction for continuing on past the point of no return with their missions? What kind of armor, weapons, knick knacks, etc. And which faction has the best quest rewards?

After all, I prefer to base my choice about the future of humanity off of who pays the best.

How far are you into the game so i don't say any spoilers, or would you prefer spoilers?

My next story mission is going into the Glowing Sea. I sort of wanted to find everything else first before I went in there. And there can be spoilers if needed, just as few as possible if you're able.

The Railroad:

Call upon a vertibird to escort you somewhere

Ballistic Weave, which is basically a high tier clothing upgrade for the workshop, it's really damn useful for later, or even early on.

Supplies at their HQ

A shop, with some pretty great weapons in it

Various other rewards from radiant quests and the faction's main quest

The Brotherhood of Steel:

Very nice piece of power armor, and a jetpack later on

High tier shops, gatling laser, gauss rifle, the works

Call upon a vertibird to escort you somewhere

A ton of loot on board their HQ

Various other great rewards by doing radiant quests and their main quest

The Minutemen:

Minutemen backup, by using a signal flare to signal the minutemen to help you

An Armory located at the HQ, and various other loot at the HQ such as a Fat Man, and one of the best weapons in the game: The Last Minute

Loot from Radiant Quests and their Main Quest

The Institute:

The entirity of The Insitute to loot from, and a great shop to purchase items from

Synth Relay Grenades, to call personal synths to help you in battle

An exclusive companion, X6-88, with a pretty good companion perk

Tons of loot from their main quest and Radiant quests

Best Clothing item in the game: Maxxon's Battlecoat, and various power armor

This is the highest paying faction, since you're in it for the money.

So far I like the Minutemen best, since they give you great reasons to have Settlements.

I would also add the Minutemen Artillery support-if in range.

You forgot getting Maxson's amazing battlecoat, his legendary minigun, and his unique Elder T-60F power armor.

TL;DR:

BoS: Best Gear / Weaponry, great cap payout, really great loot
Railroad: Decent Gear / Weaponry, poor cap payout, great loot
The Institute: Great Gear / Weaponry, Best cap payout, really great loot, Best Clothing Item
The Minutemen: Decent Weaponry / 2nd Best Clothing Item / Poor Gear, poor cap payout, decent loot

Maxxon will be on a roof or on the bottom in his own power armor when you're trying to take control of liberty prime.

He has the best power armor in the game, probably one of the best heavy weapons in the game, and definitely the best clothing item in the game.
The power armor is basically just Danse's, besides the unique elder paint.

Elder paint is no stronger than any other BOS paint, or for that matter, run-of-the-mill military paint. T-60 isn't exactly rare.

For T-60, you should probably be running either explosive shielded (for ~half damage from them), or Atom Cats (+charisma, reduced AP cost for sprinting) material mods -- both likely much more useful than +1 STR.

I never said that T-60 was rare, nor did i imply it if your're talking to me.
