yeah now that is what i was looking for
Instead of "car" they say "caa"
"I'm from Cape Cad, but I love New Yak"
As an Aussie, i understand you perfectly, It's kinda like a "northern suburbs"
Melbourne accent. Or was it "south Sydney"???
Wrong.
All of Diamond City and the surrounding city area are of downtown Boston.
If you look at pictures of real world Copley Square (which in game contains Trinity Plaza/Church/Tower and Boston Public Library) compared to images of Copley Square in game, they are near identical.

The really tall building in both pictures is Trinity Tower.
Beyond that, Lexington, Concord, Salem and Quincey are all within a very short drive, or even walking distance, from Boston proper.
Every NPC in this game that can trace there lineage back to Boston, Concord, Lexington, Salem, or Quincey before the bombs dropped, should 100% have a Bostonian accent.
Bethesda 100% ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that up. Instead what you get is a very small select few NPCs with the accent, with the rest using a generic New England accent.
New England might be one large area of the North East...but it 100% has tons of varying accents.
