So, why no Boston accents??

Bostoners have a...unique accent.
You could say they all talk funny, but lets be nice

So why none in the game?

maybe they assumed the accent died out although I find that rather unlikley seeing as how there are russian and english accents present and they are far rarer than the Boston accent. It is most likley an oversight on Beths part.

Many of the characters do have a slight accent. Having been to Boston, I'd say it's pretty accurate. Very few people actually spoke full-on Jerry Lewis.

Yeah, id like some of the drugs your taking so i cant hear the obvious New England accent that is in the game.

Many settlers have a Bohsten accent

and not everybody is going to have one, some would be immigrants that just don't lose their homeland twang

I live in New England. The Fallout characters sound more like they're from New Jersey or a Sopranos episode, but they don't sound like they're from Massachusetts.

cute, mild Boston accent compared to the one live example I knew - she was an electrical engineer, very smart, but a VERY distinct accent
