Under Dr Amari's entry, it says that she'll refuse to assist anyone who has joined the Institute. You've locked yourself out of completing the quest since you've alienated the person you need to complete it.

A mod, as usual will come to the rescue. Probably not one available now, not until GECK is released.

Might be some console command trickery to reset approval or something but I don't know. I assume it's a simple "if player joined institute, help=no" do there's no real flag to change.

Why as Director of the Institue would you do something stupid like that? Are you trying to make more work for the SRB!!! I also hope you did not give the mole rat serum to the kid.

You are with The Institute now. Act like it!!!!

He was being sarcastic, they're not going to talk to you about that. You screwed up, end of story. They're not going to juke and jank the game just for you.

try the command in the console "CompleteQuest 0016454e"
then do "help curie 4" and try to spawn a curie with the command "player.PlaceAtMe <ID>" <ID> being one of the curies ID, then use "Disable" on the robot curie

Curie has multiple NPCs so you'll have to find the right one
I highly suggest you back up your saves

Tell Curie that you found someone who can help, and tell Curie it is Doctor Amari. Curie should request you and her to go meet Amari, and in turn at this point Amari will be back in her lab again willing to talk just for this one quest. At this point the quest line continues as normal accept Glory doesn't partake but a random NPC. I sided with the Institute the first time I made Curie into a Synth and it worked out fine. Amari was angry at me of course, but I brought Curie to Amari and talked to her again and it worked out progressing the quest.

You made a choice....... the result of said choice is specific and demonstratable. Most people hate when games make all your actions have no measurable result on the game or world. Finally a game does and people start complaining that they have to live with the results of their actions.

Yeesh.

All I can say is Tell Curie you found someone, tell her it is Doctor Amari, then take Curie to see Amari. Amari should still progress the quest as normal... regardless. This quest isn't Faction Restricted, or end game restricted or Restricted in any way. The only difference is if "GLORY" is dead, she will not be the Caretaker.
