Model Display in Settlement
Is there a display case like the bobblehead stand for models? I have a model of a Mr Handy I picked up.

Whatever you do don't leave them on shelves. My Gilded Grasshopper has gone for good.

Yes this is a stupid stupid bug. Models drop through floors when you enter / leave areas. I've got some toys in one of those 4-shelf stands and every once in a while one of the toys drops a shelf and I have to put him back.

Giddyup Buttercup drops through floors as well.

You can retrieve it with a console code.

Really? I've read that the NPCs could actually steal them so I thought that was the case. I play on PS4 so no console commands for me. I think it's gone for good. 😀

Until mods come out for PS4, whenever that may be. Im sure someone will add a console command (or similar mod menu) option.
Yeah, I hope so. I want mods much more than the console commands though. Played Skyrim about 230 hrs on PC and the mods were making the game a whole different experience. The mod community for Bethesda games is just brilliant.
I have the homemaker mod if that makes a difference.

Yea, I thought my Gronak ax looked cool displayed on a shelf but its gone I think.

If you still want to take a chance, there are a couple of settlements that come with a curio cabinet style display case. I think the Castle has one as well as the Nascant (??, the settlement just NE from Libertalia) house.

Thanks. I'll give them a look when I get home.

While not exactly a display case / stand, the mod OCDecorator will let you place your models as though they were normal build mode objects, and they won't be able to be knocked over / down / fall through the world / etc.

So you can actually display them w/out worry. : )

No it hasn't, and I don't think it's a bug. If you look through the quest notes, the history behind the grasshopper is that it was stoled many times before and always returned. Go back to the top of Faneuil Hall (yes, you'll have to muller your way through some Supermutants with rocket launchers briefly, again) and I'll bet you that it's right there on top of the pole where you originally found it. And there's a good chance when you put it back in the display case that it'll again mysteriously hop off back to Faneuil Hall.
