So, what's with these things? Other than Jingles or whatever..

some of them actually set off explosives, best to shoot them quick.

They are motion detectors. They don't spot you while sneaking, but if you are just walking around normally they trigger, occasionally they set something off, but I think usually they are just there to make noise. You can shoot their head off to disable them.

it alerts the mobs, like the cans on the chains.

They are cameras for a secret organization.

They are like the tin can chains, it gets the enemys attention when they go off, they won't activate if ya use sneak mode

You can find a room with like, seven of them that all go off at once inside that Death Maze by Milton General Hospital down south. Totally worth going through cause there's a literal PILE of Fusion Cores and Mini Nukes at the end.

Not funny if you get 3 super mutant suiciders to attack you in there, the whole maze lit in fire and I died to bits because of that T_T.

I came across that last night and opened the other door, can't be arsed lugging the fatman around and I don't use power armour.

I threw a molotov at some radroaches near the start of the car park and heard a ♥♥♥♥ load of explosions going off above me - made that a bit easier!

The monkey thing is a nice touch. It would have been cool if they also would have added the laughing man toy as seen here.

its a shame you cant pick them up or use them LOL myself i think they are super creepy so i just knock their heads off LOL
