How to open workshop menu??

like wtf i cant open it and i dont find any forum who tells you how it doesnt even tell you in game or does it??

+ In controls it says Toggle FOV / Workshop but then when i click that hotkey it just switches FOV....

Hold "V" while within the settlement boundries or find the red workbench and select it with "E".

Kind of like how "R" is reload if you press it and holster if you hold it.

it works only inside of area of workshop, else it will change only gameplay view. Press and hold V key at least 2 - 3 sec.

Also holding Mouse 3 (scroll wheel on my mouse) does the same.

Is thier a way to open the workshop in the settlement without having to run to the Red Box all the time? its a bit annoying that I have to do this to get the work shop option to popup when I walk to an area of the settlement to use it

Once the option disappears I have to run back to the red box again :/

Inside any settlement just hold the workshop button and it opens the menu. Also there's a in game "help" database that answers many basic questions.

When you are walking around inside the borders of your settlement, you will see a box appear in the top left of the screen that tells you to hold V to open the workshop
