If you have gotten her and lost her; Every time I dismiss Curie she goes to Vault 81 again (at the door of the doctor's office).

If she's truly disappeared, you can use console commands to find her location either by using

prid 102249
moveto player

or

player.moveto 102249 [if this doesn't work, try 00027686]

Or, when you want to change followers, dont just choose the option to 'Dismiss' that follower, choose option to send follower to one of the settlements in the list that comes up. I chose red rocket for all my followers as its easy to find them all if they are at the one spot.
But the above post should work to get her back to begin with.

Curie has been bugged for me though, every other companion goes to a settlement like a good boy - Curie just heads to her default place either way.
