Not getting the romance option with Piper.

When I hit relationship with Piper, theres no option to flirt etc. even though she idolizes me. Is there a certain thing I have to do? I've seen the flirt option when she idolized me, but I didn't do it because it was red.

No, no I'm not. I get the relationship option which she says what our relationship is at. I'm not getting the flirt or romanticize option.

just keep at it. At some point (soon) you'll trigger her to initiate a conversatoin with you again and you'll get the dialogue option up top to romance or not and regardless, you'll get her perk. I don't know what the trigger is, but it will come. It's the same with all of 'em... something will trigger it and they'll give you their "talk".... after you've settled their quest or whatever.

. That happened already. Will it happen again? Or will I never be able to romance her because I didn't do it then?

You need to have at least a 1000 rolled up copies of the boston bugle in your inventory for that option to be available.

Think romance option is either at 750 or 1000 affinity with a companion. You can check that by opening the console, then clicking your companion a value ending with [EP] should apear in console, then type in:
getav CA_affinity
That will return the affinity value you have with companion. Companions will want to talk to you at affinity 250, 500, 750 and 1000.

In my game, Piper doesn't approve of chems. She likes lockpicking and seeing me help people out. Avoid the things she doesn't like, focus on things she does like and you'll be getting your "Lover's Embrace" bonus in no time.

All the full affinity followers that I used the just friends option with will initiate a conversation with the option to romance while they are hanging out at Red Rocket. Try swapping companions and travel to wherever you send Piper.
