Spare parts for X-01 Power Armor
Do any of the merchants carry spare parts for X-01 Power Armor? Rowdy offers T-45 and T-51 spare parts in addition to her faction's T-60. Teagan only carries his faction's T-60 (I don't need the X-01 helmet he has either).

I have a full suit and four additional ones that are all incomplete. Can you re-spawn a X-01 after you have already taken it from a given location? I do not understand why at least one vendor would have a few parts for sale.

Non of the power armor will re-spawn after you take them, i've been constantly going back to check just in case but no luck. I think the x-01 was suppose to be the most rare armor for the game since PA are just as scattered as any regular armor. There is the case where if you are at a higer lvl before finding some
PA it will have a higer grade of armor attached to it, but it is random as to what you will get.

Sometimes the vendors will have the spares for sale. I bought most of a set from Rowdy. I think what she offers all depends on your level. Similarly the armor parts that can be found in buildings in much the same way as Bobbleheads and Mini Nukes are matched to your level. So early in game they will be Raider or T-45 parts. Once you hit a certain high level they will be T-61 or eventually X-01's. Some of the full suits that you can find may be similarly leveled. Some of the other vendors will occasionally offer a single random piece as well. Except Teagan. he is limited to BOS T-61 until or unless you take the full BOS option and achieve the rank of Paladin. At which point I believe he also sells all of the X-01 parts.

Well T-60 Power Armor is very plentiful (especially if you clean up after the Brotherhood gets their butss kicked) and you can get power armor frames from several vendors. It just doesn't make any sense that spare parts for the X-01 would not be floating around, no matter how rare they are. Also, your charactor's 'luck' level and having 'barter 'perks' should influence your chances of finding X-01 spare parts with any weapons merchants (the higher the levels, the greater you will find someoane carrying them). Remember, the Enclave was running around with lost of X-01 suits just next door in the Capital Wasteland; so they wouldn't be that rare. Anyways, thanks for the help.

I am level 80 and Rowdy only sells spare parts for the T-45 and T-51 (so far). I already have all of the power armor suits (except one) that are scattered throughout the commonwealth. I have never came across spare power armor parts with any other vendors (besides Rowdy). Rowdy and Teagan do sell their factions T-60 parts but only Rowdy sells other types 9T-45 or T51). I have never found any spare parts in buildings, only those assocciated with the game's set power armor located at their designated locations. Thanks for the help.

I think its fine that the X01 is quite rare heck even the vanilla T45 without upgrades makes the supposed to be hard survival difficulty easy mode.

Shame that it seems Beth tuned the game equally for all platforms in mind when mouse and keyboard is far superior to controllers in FPS games making this one far to easy on PC

Rare is okay...but not unavailable. Remeber that the X-01 is used by the Enclave (kind of miss the fact that they are not to be seen at all in this game) and that would mean that some newer sets/items would be floating around even if it was from the reminants of the Enclave that fled the Capital Watseland.

Rowdy has been very helpful in providing spare parts for T-45 and T-51 suits. I will keep trying and see if any X-01s parts show up. Basically I need a right leg to complete a second suit of X-01 (meaning that there was only one right leg included in the game so far).

It is not unavailable. The only way you would not find more then 1 set is if you go out and find all the PAs at a low level.Which means you have to specifically go look for PA and not anything else.

My last playthrough I had three complete sets of the X-01 and some spares for them laying around. Personally unless you want to equip every companion I think that should be enough. I was not even trying to find all the PA or specifically searching for it.

I imagine if your goal is to collect PA and play the game according to the leveled loot system you could end up with more sets of X-01.

The only rare PA in this game is the T-51. At least that is how it has been in my playthroughs.

How many sets of X-01 does one really need? I would say 2. One for you, and one for your follower. And no you can't buy that set from any vendor. T60 is the highest. You can however get parts once in a while from the AtomCats. I just bought a left leg from them. Too bad though I need a right leg to complete a second set for Cait.

I have several, to lazy to swap a single set around the followers =)

But yeah, 2 is all you really need. Over that its convinece only
