Anyone bored after finishing story?
I think that Fallout 4 was a good game before finishing the story, but afterwards, nothing progresses. I enjoyed starting up Fallout 4 because I wanted to see how everything progressed, how you build the Institute teleporter. build Liberty Prime, kill a courser, go through the ranks of the BoS (that's the path I chose.) When you finally finish though, there's no point to ANYTHING. It's just "go fetch stuff for NPCs who are too lazy or dumb to do it themselves." It seems that's an important part of RPGs, but the endgame should continue to have some sort of progression. Speaking of NPCs, they're all boring so you can't even immerse yourself in the settlements or do anything interesting with them since they all say the same canned phrases. It would be interesting to have a conversation with most NPCs about events that just happened. Instead they're just walking shells and I find it funny that even Protectrons have more personality than they do.
Then there's nothing to do with the Brotherhood of Steel, it seems ridiculous that Elder Maxson just decides "OH WELL SINCE YOU DID ALL THE WORK FOR US JUST DO WHATEVER." What is the purpose of the BoS considering you just nuked the Institute? Maybe start a study to revert Ghouls or something?
I could just start a new save, but are there any other good paths to go? It seems like the only paths you have are:

Good Guy | Bad Guy

Love Institute | Hate Institute | Neutral/Don't Care

Well I did all the different story lines and it kinda added some more unique stories, but I do agree that it becomes quiet stail after you clear the game and I have already found all locations available. I think we just have to wait for the season pass because the ocean area is probaly going to have some kinda of atlantic civilization of some sort. All i have been doing is steal PA and improving my settelments.

I see you posted a big long blurb to go along with your opinion Mr. OP but suffice it to say all can reply is: No. In fact I have yet to complete the Main story even after all 163 hours of gameplay. I found the chinese nuclear submarine recently and it was alot of fun along with lots of other things I am still discovering.

Yeah, I finished up the game as well.
Lately, I've been working on trying to build up (and overpopulate) every settlement in the game.

Setting up a baseline of at least 20 food/water/beds and as many turrets as needed, then constructing a Recruitment Beacon.

I finished the game with the Minutemen, but progressed high enough in the BoS to become a Paladin (then used console to trigger the 'final' BoS mission that led to my promotion to Sentinel).

In addition to setting up my settlements, anytime I find a new Minutemen Checkpoint (those things you always have to help defend when you get close), I've been using the console to spawn in 1-2 BoS knights.
Also flavored up my Castle with BoS troops and a parked Vertibird -- and added a few Minutemen to the Boston Airport / Prydwen.

This is all fun just for fun though, nothing really important happening until some DLC comes out.

IDK, I guess like the game should have more than just being a completionist with every settlement. The settlement game mechanic seems forced to me and while rebuilding does make sense, I would rather just play Minecraft. R.I.P. Red where is the nuclear submarine? Does it have any quests or is it just some location to clear out?
