Press caps lock. Then you always move normal. You can press another key to toggle slow walk. Then you can hold shift to sprint. I dont see the problem since this is rather normal for every fps.

It's not 2 run buttons, there's walk, run toggle and then Sprint. For all purposes you won't need to use walk/run and just leave it on run.

i still dont see the point since it runs of the same engine as skyrim and there was only one button to increase speed...anyway thx

Because sprinting has always had an AP cost in Fallout and walking and running do not.

This may be the same engine but it not the same game.

Skyrim had the same thing, you're just misremembering it.

Skyrim had the same thing. Some people like to toggle walk mode for the roleplaying effect or whatever.

The Controls are exactly the same as Skyrim.

You just have an odd perspective because for whatever reason you started with Always Run toggled off. Probably accidentally hit caps lock.

It's not that there is "two buttons for increasing speed," there's a button for Walking and a button for Sprinting. Running is supposed to be the default WASD movement. Just like Skyrim.

Well, the game is set to always run by default. But if you really don't want a button to walk because it bothers you, you can use a controller.

And Fallout 4 doesn't default to walk mode either. But both have a walk/run toggle (caps lock) and both have a key that when held down will switch walk/run (shift in skyrim). Both also have a sprint key. In Skyrim, it's the Alt key, and it drains stamina when you use it.
