missing fallout4.exe file

fallout 4 laucnher does not start the game when i press play it acts like it loads but the launcher loads back up i was told to cange the fallout4.exe files to laucnher.exe but i cannot find the files

In steam. Right mouse click "Fallout 4"
Choose "properties" at the bottom of the list that opens up,
Then click the tab "Local Files"
then "Browse local files..."
That will take you right where you want to go. :)

and clean out your Saved games for fallout 4 to a small number. If you have too many like 100+ it will cause heck when trying to start the game or save during it. For me anyway

Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Saves

Backup the Saves folder first to be safe

i have the fallout4 launcher but not the fallout4.exe i have so saved files or mods
when the laucnher pops up and press play the laucnher pops up again

In your Steam game listing, right click on Fallout 4. Select Properties. Select Local Files. Select Verify Integrity of Game Cache. When the process finishes follow DevilDoughNutt's instructions.

have same problem, tried that, nothing fixed, still missing fallout4.exe halp

this also happens when you try to run a 64bit executable on a 32 bit machine - steam will NOT download the executable. you have a 64but operating system correct? click help at the top of this window then system information then scroll down to Operating System Version. should say this in order for game to work:
Operating System Version:
Windows 7 (64 bit)

i only have Fallout 4 and Fallout LAuncher before that i had the problem that when i click on play it load then put again the laucher with play

there are 2 separate exe, mean for different purpose
dunno why u ever want to do such thing
