Companion: "Well, one day the minutemen were..."
NPC: "HEY DIDJA HEAR ABOUT THAT FARM OUT EAST THAT'S RUN BY GHOULS? I HEARD THAT BLAH BLAH BLAH....."
Yeah S.T. I get that a lot too. Hell, I've also had NPC's physically move me when I'm talking to someone! If I knew how to make mods, I'd make one that allows you to punch out badly behaving NPC's, without everyone turning hostile. I just did a quest where I have to talk the Minutemen out of attacking a place. After several conversation options, & wearing all Charisma + clothes with a hi basic Charisma too, I eventually have to order them to stand down. Their spokesman tells me, the General of the Minutemen, 'I don't have to take orders from you'. Well, if ever there was a case for punching him out, that was it! Some NPC's just get too big for their boots! :)
I know this post is a month old, but I'd like to confirm this is correct.
One of my Provisioner's pack Brahmin had me trapped inside a building until I raged and tried to gib him so I could get by :) The whole settlement gang-banged me for shooting at it lol.
dogg, excellent Brahmin bug! One of the things that bugs me about all Fallouts, is how everyone knows what you've done regardless of time or situation! I've just tried to sneakily infiltrate Covenant, after they'd turned hostile. 3 nights I went in stealthy (inc Stealth Boys) yet they were all up & alerted & could apparently easily see me. Had to resort to Pax & Mind Cloud syringes. My best Brahmin bug so far, was when attacking a Gunners base, I saw a derilict building (only 2 of 4 walls type) that looked good for sniping & cover. Got to the 3rd floor & the last bit of stairs & there's a Brahmin! I went round it, but couldn't go up the last stairs due to a plank overhead! Tried to go back, but the Brahmin had moved to block me in! Could I shift it? No, so I had to blow it away with my shotty to get out! Only in Fallout eh? :)
Can confirm first person fixes it *sometimes* but not moving the mouse and using keys to select dialogue seems to always avoid it.
They already aware of it (it is on the confirmed bugs list).
It happens if you move your mouse after you click a dialogue option. Simply don't use the mouse when talking until they fix it.
In Fallout4Prefs.ini I found this line-
[General]
bGamepadEnable=1
I change it to 0
Now Im playing for over an hour, on purpose talking to everyone, brutaly moving my mouse, changing from 1st person to 3rd person, it looks bug is complitely gonne:D
Could someone test it and confirm if it worked for u?:)
New show? The Playing Dead?
