[BUG] Nick Valentine dialog stuck

I'm doing the quest "tell your story" but I keep repeating the same 4 phrases to Nick Valentine and i'm unable to continue... how can I solve?

i got the same glitch. it wont let me start the interview with nick

exit game and start game up, or leaving the area and coming back is a good way to fix mission scripts, worked for me a few times

I know this thread is super old, but to fix it (if you're playing on PC), you’ll need to open up the command console in the game and then type “setstage 000229e6 60”. This makes you skip finish the stage in which you tell Valentine about Shawn completely. Afterwards you will have to follow him. Just in case somebody is still searching for a solution. XD
