Upgrade Silver Shroud Armor Without Kent?
So, since he died.. Is there a way to upgrade the armor ? Or should I start looking for other armor again ?

AFAIK, making sure he survives is the only way to upgrade the armor.

It's not possible. The outfit can reach 87/87 protection so I highly recommend loading an earlier save to save him.

It's definitely better than leather/raider leather. Defense-wise a full bombat armor set with the helmet beats silver shroud armor by about 10-20 points, depending on the version of the combat armor. Further modifications of the combat armor pieces would obviously make them even better.

But combat armor pieces are much heavier than the shroud armor. If you like travelling light combat armor is not great in this regard.

On the other hand, ballistic-weave...

To put this in perspective, my battered fedora alone provides 110/110.

Hm, it seems that the game isn't wanting to show , or doesn't keep, that many saves. I only see about 8 saves in the Load menu, but I know there should be a ♥♥♥♥ load .
