Disable green background shading
I am running on a 21:9 monitor and have applied lots of fixes however one really annoing thing is the shading behind UI elements is still aligned for a 16:9 screen and is very annoying. Does anyone have a fix or way of disabling these things: http://imgur.com/T5yRVGe

If you're talking about the green light.. Your pip boys flashlight is on. Hold Tab to toggle.

If you mean the green box for containers, this is edited in the ingame options. Hud opticity makes it fade until its gone or however you want it. You can also change the color.

You can also change the flashlights color ingame options.

No I mean the green backgrounds on the UI elemets (The things pointed out in the image) are still in their 16:9 locations and I want to remove them

You can mess around with the UI colors and opacity in the options. Not sure if that would help, did you try it?

Unfortunately these options hide the whole UI not just the green squares

Well if anyone would like to know the solution i can offer it. Using DEF_UI mod i was able to also use UWPU - Fallout 4 v1.7.15-16666-1-1-F4V715 and overwrite only the HUDMenu option when installing this mod (so as not to overwrite anything else going on - HUDMenu is the last option at least for me). The great thing is that scope zoom now works properly and the green shading squares are gone.

I hope this helps the op if not too late. Certainly anyone else have a try and see if this works. This is for 21:9 users.

Thankyou for the tip ^^ i im using 95 for 1st person and 105 for 3rd person. Some folks like to use 100 for 1st person but i noticed odd flicker in the distance and some fisheye going on when i set this. 95 and 21:9 get along well. Btw Ultrawide is really amazing. Its very noticable after watching the "old" 16:9 television ^^. Im still impressed after upgrading recently.
