Does Live & Love #9 affect Nick?
Live & Love Issue #9 (from the Diamond City Schoolhouse) increases the damage robot companions deal by 5%. I know this is meant for companions such as Codsworth, Curie and the Automaton creations. But I almost always have Nick with me. Being a Gen 2, I'd assume he does count as a robotic companion, but I can't find an official list of companions affected by #9 to confirm this.
Does anyone know if Nick is affected?

I highly doubt it, because if there was a bonus for him then it would not be for robots, but for synths, because synth is his designated race.

When I then use a 10mm with the Troubleshooter legendary effect (+50% against robots) and compare it to a normal 10mm do I also not get any bonus damage. The legendary effect does not recognize him as a robot.

To add to this, 5% is very little and even if it did give you a bonus you will not notice the difference and you should not go out of your way just for this magazine.

This makes me wonder if you upgrade curie to her synth body does it then update that race trigger too and she no longer would benifit from the robot effects?

I have tested it now with an Assassin's (+50% against humans) and a Troubleshooter's (+50% against robots).

Turns out Curie in human-form registers as a human, while Nick neither registers as human or robot when targeting them. I no longer have a Curie in robot-form on a savefile available and so I used Ada instead. Ada registers as a robot.
