how can i fix Gatling laser

If there is only one ammunition left, the shoot stop whenever there is one ammunition left.
Is this just a bug? or is it only me?

They use fusion cores for ammunition. When the core is depleted and you have no more in your inventory, they will stop shooting, even if the cores have one charge in them.

This does not happen in my game. It stops at "000". I also use the Unofficial Fallout4 Patch.

If it is at 000 or 001, you still need to reload. Having 001 ammo left in the core is actually a good thing, as you can then sell it for full Price at vendors.

The Aeternius (the Neverending Gatling) has endless shooting with no reload, only i know of. This is truly bugged as it does NOT drain your cores. But it is fun to use.

There are many unknown bugs in this game, but this is rare.
There's nothing I can do. Uncomfortable I press the reload button myself...

Well, you are supposed to press the reload button yourself. I might have difficulties understanding your problems. Do you play with a Legendary Neverending Gatling? That is the only weapon that do not need to Reload manually. All weapons need manual reload.

if you have this problem.
Move all fusion cores to another bag (like power armor station or box ..etc)
and back to inventory.
You have to move the full fusion cores first.

Watch the video. You can see how the Gatling laser stops at 001 when it should stop at 000. I do not have this issue myself. I just tested it with all levels of Nuclear Physicist (giving more charges to fusion cores), but it always stops at 000 with me. Something is wrong on OP's side or it is an uncommon condition that triggered it.

OP could try modding it, removing all mods, and putting them back on. Or drop the weapon on the floor and pick it up again. Or test it with a different Gatling laser, ...

but I found it. this bug cause is a 'fallout 4 unoffical patch' mod.

strangely unclear physicist lv3 with mod is fine.
but lv2 than bug happend. so I deleted, ammo 500 max, and 249 ammo
I search why 249 ammos instead of 250 ammos. it is normal.
I think this is the reason why this bug occurred. only 1 left ammo

If I play vanilla game, I can't use fusion cores at once but good working.
If anyone has a bug like this, please refer to it.
unoffical patch is good working at nuclear physicist lv3


The funny thing is
in vanilla games, bugs occur at unclear physicist level 3.

I think FO3's GL was awesome. For some reason Beth FO4 dumbed it down and it now mostly sucks, but thanks to mods, especially "Lasers have no recoil", LAGA.
