World Series Bat is missing!

I searched the internet and didn't found any post like this. I guess I am the first fallout player experiencing this. When I entered the treasure room, there was no bat to be found!
I am playing a melee character and bat is not in treasure room, great!

How you entered the Jamaica Plain room is possibly what might be wrong:

Did you do the actual quest, getting the information from scattered people around the area dead, and following clues?

Did you instead noclip?

Was there anything else out of place in that room? Did you use explosives or blow any part of any robot up in the process of entering?

I didnt use console command. I received quest, got mayor id card etc. Only thing I did different is I disarmed every laser trap instead of using mayor id card.

Shouldn't have any effect. Maybe go back later, see if it respawns after a week or so away from the location, or respawns in its proper place. It may have simply fallen out of the box and below the floor.

Thanks I spawned a new one with console command.

the world series bat is ever a little contradicting. you want to have the enemy near as melee so you can beat him to death, means the knockback isnt really helpful.

By the time they get actually knocked back with it, they will be dead anyway most of the time. I've used it on occasion, not my current run. Fun weapon combined with the perk for it.
