2. Check if all the Fallout London esp are activated.
3. Try not to start the game from the laucher but directly from the f4se_loader.exe in your Fallout 4 installation (not Fallout London installation) and run it as administrator.
I have experienced, but now also read:
"xSE PluginPreloader F4" - which avoids crashes on loading screens, quote: "I had exactly 4 crashes in 14 hours of play." ("The waiting times for loading are terrible though")
and:
"Long Loading Times Fix" - which avoids long loading times
are incompatible. then it doesn't start at all.
I have decided against "xSE PluginPreloader F4"
It's a must
Use the high fps physics fix instead since that fixes also the loading times. And download the correct older version, since you downgraded the game you can't use the current version.
Or you can just disable weapon debris.
Fix was to copy the contents of supplied __AppData folder in addition to the ini files in __Config. These files shoud be placed in the wine equivalen to the windows AppData folder. This will typically be in the/home/{user}/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/377160/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/ or the same location relative to your steam library
hey man how do i check if they are activated?
Assuming you are on windows, open explorer and type %localappdata% in the navigation bar at the top, hit enter then navigate to the fallout4 folder. In there you will see plugins.txt and some other files. that file will list the plugins you have that are 'active.'
If that does not list the folon esms, then I would suggest, ***after making backups of the originals, ofc***, you copy all of the files from the \_appdata\ folder in the folon install directory over the files in \appdata\local\fallout4\
This should have happened automatically during the folon install. But if you installed it using a different method (manual, mod manager, etc..), they may not have been copied over.
I installed all recommended mods via Vortex (incl. Buffout4) before ever starting FOLON. My plugins.txt lists both esps from \__appdata\ for FOLON, but also those for the other mods, so I didnt replace it. Should I still try that?
regarding the config files:
Using Fallout4Prefs from \__Config\ in \Fallout4\ of the steam directory didn't work. Did I misunderstand the instruction?
I used the FOLON installer, so I don't know where to get other config files from.
In each case I started f4se_loader as an admin from the steam directory. Still mirror scene after correct Intro.
I needed to use the .bat file to apply the FOLON update that came out a few weeks ago, so I know the installer doesn't actually install the files directly to the Fallout 4 folder at least some of the time.
If you see installation advice before 12 august ignore it for Fallout London. That was specifically tailored to 1.0 and your going to have a bad time if you apply that on 1.01
The ClearUp.bat was in my steam directory and running it did it, thank you.
I wasn't aware of the update
